The Aboriginal people believe that the Dreamtime was the beginning of all things and that the spirit beings that created everything shaped the world as it is now. After that some of them went into the sky, or the ground, or merged into hills, rivers, rock formations, and water holes and even though these beings died their spirit lives on. It lives on in the stories and myths told in songs and dances and paintings and passed on from generation to generation. It is believed that in the process of telling these myths the artist or storyteller is able to draw on the power and influence of his or her spirit ancestors. Our range of authentic native arts and crafts are handcrafted and hand painted by Australian Aboriginal artists.
