Orara Vale, the home of Two Tails Wines, is located approximately 25 kilometres west of the city of Coffs Harbour on the NSW mid-north coast. The winery is set amidst a backdrop of rolling green hills and is open from 11am until 5pm daily for free tastings (closed Mondays during school terms).

A wonderful range of red wines and white wines are available for sale and the winery will also cater for special group tastings. Buses are welcome by appointment.

The Nana Lizard or Sphenomorphus Lesueur, Lesueur’s skink.

In recent years it has become known as Ctenotus robustus.

The Nana Glen Story

The local aboriginal people call the two-tailed lizard “Nana”. They also named the creek “Nana” as the creek forks resembling the two-tailed lizard. A farmer named Edward Sharpe named his property “Nana Glen” and the post office was opened in his home. The post office and the village became officially known as Nana Glen.

It was for these reasons that the name Two Tails Wines was chosen.
